Wes Agar Signs with KDCC

Kensington District Cricket Club is delighted to announce the signing of Wes Agar, one of the most exciting fast bowlers in Australian domestic cricket. Agar, who has made a name for himself with both South Australia and the Adelaide Strikers, will bolster Kensington’s bowling attack for the upcoming season.

Agar, a right-arm fast bowler, has been a standout performer across formats, particularly in the red-ball game. His recent Marsh Sheffield Shield season was a testament to his skill, claiming 26 wickets, including career-best figures of 6-42 against Western Australia.

After playing 56 matches for the Adelaide Strikers, Agar will be lining up for the Sydney Thunder in this summer’s BBL|14. Having represented Australia in two One Day Internationals on the 2021 tour of the West Indies, Agar’s international experience adds further strength to Kensington’s lineup.

“We’re thrilled to have Wes joining us this season,” said Kensington District Cricket Club’s Cricket Director Aaron O’Brien. “His pace and experience at both state and national levels will be a fantastic asset to our side, and we’re excited to see what he brings to the club.”

Wes Agar’s signing marks a significant boost for Kensington as they look ahead to a strong season, both on and off the field.
